Butterfly Valves are used for the output control of powder and granular raw materials poured with their own weight.
There is a 90 degree rotating disc inside the butterfly flaps. These flaps are installed under bunkers, warehouses or silos. The flow of raw materials in bulk to the butterfly valve is controlled by rotating a movable blade on the drive shaft connected to the actuator or manual arm around its own axis. OZF-ÇFK brand butterfly valves, designed as single and double flanged butterfly valves, are offered with o-ring channel and gasket opened on flange bodies for maximum tightness. Single flanged butterfly valves are designed for flexible bellows and similar connections in the throat area. Double flanged butterfly valves with the same upper and lower flanges are designed to be used in systems that can be fixed to each other. Due to their special design and the engineering materials used, butterfly valves represent a particularly cost-effective yet most efficient solution.
Usage Areas of Butterfly Valves
-At the entrance and exit of the screw and screw conveyors,
-At the entrance and exit of the bunkers where dosage and weighing are made
-Storage silos, bunkers are under the entrance and exit of the hoopers,
– Butterfly valves are used at the inlets and outlets of belt and chain conveyors.
